History
CBE is a leading Portuguese company in the provision of services and integrated telecommunications solutions for fixed (HFC, FTTx and FTTH) and mobile (2G, 3G and LTE/ 4G) networks.
Founded in 1998, CBE started operations in the provision of planning, training, design and engineering services for Cabovisão - Televisão por Cabo (HFC Networks).
In 2000, we extended our activity to mobile networks, also strengthening the services offered:
In 2002 it obtained the Alvará Nº 41951, issued by the IMPIC.
In 2004, following market trends, the company started its internationalisation with operations in Spain and Gibraltar.
As a result of the company's growth, in 2005 CBE builds the company's headquarters in Lisbon (Vialonga), with more than 5,000m2 of operating areas, offices and warehouses.
Given the know-how and as a result of the establishment of international partnerships, in 2007 CBE was invited to participate in the construction of the first FTTH network (Fibre-to-the-Home) in Portugal, for Optimus.
In 2008 the company started fixed and mobile network operation and maintenance for the same operator (Optimus), and was the first Portuguese company in the field of engineering and construction to win this type of contracts.
In 2010, CBE was selected to build Vodafone and ZON's FTTH projects.
