The FTTH Council Europe is delighted to announce that the 14th edition of the FTTH Conference will be held in the exhibition and convention centre “Marseille Chanot” in Marseille, France, on 14-16 February 2017.
The FTTH Conference's continued growth cements its position as the world’s largest event focused on the networks, services and usage enabled by fibre optics. The 13th edition of the event, held in Luxembourg on 16-18 February 2016, attracted 3,000 participants from 96 countries, demonstrating the ever-increasing interest in FTTH issues and solutions. This year, 120 exhibitors and partners supported the event and over 155 high-level speakers gave presentations on a vast array of FTTH related topics, including case studies.
“Following the great success of our event in Luxembourg this year, we are strongly motivated to start the preparations for the next one in Marseille,” President of the FTTH Council Europe Edgar Aker said. “Fibre to the home development in Europe has now reached a tipping point. In France, policy makers have been strong advocates of FTTH in the last few years, including the national government with its “France Très Haut Débit” plan and local authorities, which are also heavily involved in fibre rollout. Case studies and lessons learned in France should be of interest to project leaders and investors from all over the world.”
Delegate registration for the FTTH Conference 2017 will open in Autumn 2016.
